The prize is a very special one-off framed poster of the Birthday artwork including the prize winners name, signed by Jackie and artist David Owen. Just remember you must be a ticket holder to enter – email your answers to jackie_oates@yahoo.co.uk and include the name of the venue you’re attending on the tour. The competition closes at noon on October 31st.

Jackie Oates kicks off her tour today with a hometown show at Exeter Phoenix.  Dates to follow include Nailsea, Reading, Stafford, Bury, London, Fareham, Liverpool, Cockermouth, York, Norwich, Shoreham-by-Sea, South Petheron and Cardiff.   Available on the tour will be copies of Jackie’s new album ‘Hyperboreans’, vinyl copies of the single ‘Birthday’ (not available on early dates) and newly designed Jackie Oates t-shirts.

Jackie Oates will be on tour in October and November with her new four piece line up including long-time collaborator James Dumbelton on guitar, James Budden on double bass and Mike Cosgrove on accordion. The tour will, for the first time, feature material for Jackie’s new album ‘Hyperboreans’.  Click on ‘live dates’ above for box office details.

Jackie and James will be doing a rare support gig for the Jim Moray Band at the Thekla, Bristol tomorrow night. This is promising to be a great night, in a fantastic venue.
